I graduated from Nova Southeastern University in 2011 with a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling. I am a licensed mental health counselor who has practiced throughout the South Florida region. I started working with the chronic and persistent severe mental health population before transitioning into working with individuals with substance abuse disorders. I have extensive experience working at multiple treatment centers, providing dual-diagnosis treatment to clients. As a therapist, I utilize an eclectic approach to therapy while maintaining a focus on cognitive behavioral and solution-focused modalities. For trauma, I utilize, at times, the Internal Family Systems Model, which aids clients in finding the parts of self they reject or have shame and cannot accept and utilize parts work to integrate these “unacceptable” parts into wholeness and love by Self.
